Josh NiTE,
Born and raised in Miami, I was an only child living with my mom. As like everyone else in this world, I've had my ups and downs. Getting arrested, flunking high school, and hanging with the wrong crowds. But threw all of that I finally saw the light.(or should I say Ferry Corsten showed me:)).
My Buddy Jebus one night let me borrow his Mp3 player. I asked him to put a long song on and at this point I didn't listen to anything Electronic. He put on Ferry Corsten's Infinite Euphoria (which I recommend to everybody) and just listing to the first few seconds of the tracks, I fell in LOVE!!! I wonder how such great melodies and beats could go so well together, and how I could make those same great sounds.
From there on out, I was downloading everything electronic (mostly trance). I went to my local clubs on weekends to observe other D.J.'s, and also went to my first Ultra and it was the most greatest experiences of my life.. I tried to do everything I could to learn more about the scene while waiting to get my first tables.
One day at work, my co-worker and I were smoking a cigarette and he asked me if I knew anyone who wanted to buy tables. OMG I was in shock. I said to him, I want those tables :) So I went to his house to check them out. They weren't bad, but weren't the best. I got them for a $100, mixer, headphones, and all. I didn't know any other D.J.'s so I taught everything myself. Let me tell you something tho, these tables taught me everything I know. They never failed or broke on me. I upgraded my mixer and needles but the tables are my cheap sluts, and I love em..
Ive been spinning for a year and a half. I'm living in Boca with my mom now. I play house parties and I'm looking for a group to spin with at clubs in the area . I'm in the works of producing right now, and wanna get something pressed within the next year.
