Background: Guest appearing as Artists, Producers, Mix Engineers, Professional Consultants and A&Rs, Brotherly Love (Big Meezy and Soleternity) broke into the majors in 2005 and 2006, spitting venom on albums including "Dj Rip Presents The Best of 2pac and the Outlawz (Source 1 Mixtape Summer 2006)," "Bone Crusher Release The Beast (Source Independent's Day Summer 2006)," "Khujo Goodie Mercury," and, of course, Big Meezy's Double Mixtape Classic, which featured Adina Howard, J-Bo of the Youngbloodz, Young Nobel of the Outlawz, Khujo Goodie of Goodie Mob, Bone Crusher, and many more.
Now Big Meezy and Soleternity are back with much to prove. After playing a critical role in establishing many successful projects, their abilities will be put to the test as their own group, Brotherly Love, emerges on the scene. Outside of Medusa and Black Roz, there are no featured artists on "The Prologue."
"The Prologue" is Brotherly Love's first official retail length project, after dropping street singles "Rolling Slabs" and "What It Do (Featuring Medusa)" in 2007. Group Member Big Meezy dropped "The Double Mixtape Classic" last year to critical acclaim.
"The Prologue" is a redemption spinoff of Brotherly Love's forthcoming album "Hollywood" in Fall of 2008. And it is the first of a trilogy of mixtapes surrounding the album ("The Sequel" and "The Epilogue" come later this year).
The first half of "Prologue" spotlights original music from Brotherly Love that will not be featured on the album Hollywood, with the exception of lead single "Head Body." All original music was produced by Soleternity.
The second half showcases Brotherly Love performing original lyrics to industry instrumentals, taking lyrics and swagg to the highest level.
