About Me

David Aragon aka "Kiva" is recognized as one of the most versatile and prolific dj’s of the LA scene. He was born on the 3rd of May 1978 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Raised mainly in California were he lives today sharing the stage with almost every trance artist of note since he began his dj career in 1999. Kiva has always had an affection towards electronic music from an early age. His experiences with electronic music culture have molded who he is today. He began collecting and playing Psychedelic trance music in 1997 and has an intimate knowledge of the history and spirit of the sound. Playing at outdoor events such as Earthdance, Symbiosis Gathering, Burning Man Festival, and numerous indoor shows in the area hosted by local groups in the Los Angeles psy collective. Recently collaborating with new artists from the Los Angeles scene. His years of experience conjure intuitive sequences combined with impeccable bass lines which seek to invoke a powerful listening experience. Currently he's producing music that hopes to capture listeners in the same way he was drawn to the sound of life. Being a staple in the culture of California psytrance, his contributions will continue to make impressions on all who experience them.
