The best way to describe OBSKUYR would be to define the actual word obscure.
(1. hard to understand : difficult to understand because of not being fully or clearly expressed an obscure passage in the manuscript
2. indistinct: not able to be seen or heard distinctly Its outlines are obscure, but the object seems roughly cigar-shaped.
3. unimportant or unknown: not important or well-known an obscure portrait painter
4. known to few people: unknown to most people, e.g. because of being hidden or remote
5. dim: dark, shadowy, or clouded an obscure corner of the hall.) OBSKUYR originated as a two man international cybergrind in late 2007 (12/30/07) .
While two friends (Sinn-Sytri & Demogorgon {inactive/ex-member}) where messing with backmasking and various audio related subjects the idea came up between them to start making music.
Sinn-Sytri brought up this idea and it was well received with Demogorgon.
So later that night the American Sinn-Sytri & Australian Demogorgon created the first OBSKUYR song, Sweet Satan.
Sweet Satan was created from inspiration and lyrical content from a backmasked clip of the Led Zeppelin song Stairway To Heaven.
Which you can hear at the end of the song, soon more songs followed.
Now it is just a one man act only containing Sinn-Sytri.
All music, art, lyrics, ect. Where & are created by Sinn-Sytri.
While OBSKUYR does not have a demo/ep/ and or sampler, things are in the works.
