The band all started in late 2005 when a group of friends got together for a practise. There were a few different mess ups, but the remaining lads worked hard to keep the band together.
After playing for a while and recording an EP in Newbury, the four freshly turned 18 year olds started to get their name out.
Since then its all started to happen with bigger gigs, bands and venues....
Blardy Blars will do there best to make anyone dance, because having an honest laugh is much better than kissing arse and putting on fake smiles...

"Blardy Blars are a little dirty band from Reading, and have something that REBUS would cut their hair off for! They dont like a girl called Mandy, and even though we love Barry Manilow, Rock n Roll Disco is a mashed up stroke of punk pop genuis"
"Im real glad they exist, because theyll probably fuck a few people off and kick the arses of the establishment...but we always need new kids wanting to Ruck"

"These young whippersnappers from Reading are causing a right riot - Arctic Monkeys-style tracks get bodies jittering on the dance floor, and there's more sweat flailing about than at WWF"
Our 'The Session' show number 27, was dedicated to the Blardy Blars, who, despite their name, certainly have something to say. They're scandalously young at 18 but ever so talented - already nabbing prime support slots such as the Maccabees & Jack Penate"

"Blardy Blars are four sex punks-that are far too exciting for their own good. Deliciously scuzzy rabble rousing punk rock that slays every band in East London."
Blah Blah Magazine

"Frantic indie-rave rockings with more Artic Monkeys vibes and a boxful of silly noises, a lotta fun it is in Blardy Blar Land."
