About Me

As of March 2008, Freeslave have decided to call it a day after a couple of years together as a band. The last few years has seen the band travel across the country including high profile shows at Trafalgar Square and in Ireland, playing on BBC Radio1 and recording the successful EP ’Save My Day’ in 2006. This recording received critcal acclaim in various national and international press, including Rock Sound magazine and the Phantom Tollbooth website.
The final recording including all four members of Freeslave is the soon-to-be released ’Road Less Travelled’. Recorded with Grammy award-winning producer Julian Kindred (Delirious? Rebecca St. James, Luna Halo) in October 2007, the single will be released in conjunction with Haydon Spenceley’s solo project in May.
Matt Brombley is now performing under the name ’Last Action Hero’ whilst Aaron and Ben Lewis will continue to support Haydon live and play in various other projects to be announced soon.
We’d like to thank everyone who’s supported us and contributed in someway over the last 2 years, it’s been alot of fun! Check out the Freeslave back catalogue on iTunes here.
