About Me

Hailing from small town Cheshunt (most famous for being Cliff Richard's childhood hometown), The Singletons are an energetic, exciting, sixties-influenced, pop six-piece. They're creative in their lyrical content with the piano playing Jools Holland would be proud of. They very much have a 60s pop feel to what they do, but brought up to date with a modern flavour with hooks aplenty and catchy lyrics, having been described as sounding like 'Syd Barrett writing songs for the Beatles'.The lead vocals are gritty and bluesy, coupled with sweet, angelic backing vocals which make their songs both light and yet hauntingly memorable. Their live show is creating a lot of attention and picking them up new Singletones everywhere they play.
