About Me

.. ..I am a dealer in rare mineral species, especially from the Arizona and the Southwest. I have a penchant for radioactive rocks, copper and lead species. Self employment is freedom-- quit your dead end job and do what you love!I like funk music, african music, and soul. Zydeco! Bluegrass, newgrass, and old time. Love the blues. Jazz if it swings. Mambo, Son, Rumba, Latin Jazz. I play percussion.. tinker around on the mandolin.

I'm happiest on the road or overseas. I've seen most of the U.S., and parts of India, Europe, and Mexico. The desert land of the four corners states are my adopted home with good reason though some of the best times of my life were had living down in Florida, listening to Vassar saw on his fiddle or Doc Watson play a Sunday morning gospel set under the Live Oak trees by the Suwannee River.
I've been a vegetarian for 22 years with no exceptions, except that Alligator drowned in habanero vinegar I ate down at Springfest. Gator don't count. Hell, It'd eat you if you didn't eat it first. And it's good for a man to commune with the reptile in the back of his brain from time to time.

I value reason, ethics, and sovereignty. Silence and space. Color and texture. Rhythm and experience. I have little respect for dogma and big ideas. Like it says in the book: I'd rather a man come at me with an axe than a big idea!

I spent years and traveled worlds seeking. The only truth I learned was whiskey, pain, and beauty. The big sky and the hard ground. I worship the sun, the slickrock, and a full bottle of water.
