The Big Fish Blues Band, located in the "Great Pacific Northwest", Astoria, Oregon, is basically a "Jump Blues " band with a little bit of a hard edge thereby adopting the phrase, "Power Blues".
Though grounded in traditional "Chicago Style Blues" it's influences are such bands as The Fabulous Thunderbrds, early Feetwood Mac, Cream, Delbert McClinton, Jimmie Vaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy and all the other legends that have influenced its' sound.
Though basically democratic, the band is led by lead singer , harp player and guitarist, Patrick McGee, originally out of Raleigh, North Carloina, with a solid background in "Blues" and "Southern Rock" dating back to the late sixties.
NOTICE: We are planning some personnel changes in the near future that will definitely expand our horizons with a new line-up of great talent from "The Northwest" so stay tuned.
