I am here for Friends

About Me

"When you come of age it’s not the same;
No umbrella over your head when it rains.
And your friends would rather get high than play at games.
Oh, it’s such a shame the way they change."
I have a youtube where I put up videos of people I like:

I attempt to be artistic sometimes with varying degrees of success:

My Interests

Going to gigs, listening to music, reading, doodling, making things, using PhotoStudio, watching films, spending far too long on the internet, obsessing over Tim Burton like you wouldn't believe and sleeping.

I'd like to meet:

Really nice people, preferably those that are a little eccentric. It helps if you are on the same wavelength as me. If you do friend request me please send me a little message at the same time.

Music:

In no particular order:
The Flaming Lips, , Mercury Rev, Grandaddy, Danny Elfman, Oingo Boingo, Patrick Wolf, The Bees, The Beach Boys, Devendra Banhart, Elliott Smith, Kid Harpoon, Jamie T, Les Incompétents, Good Shoes, Jeff Buckley, The Polyphonic Spree, British Sea Power, Babyshambles, Dirty Pretty Things, Os Mutantes, The Clash, Graham Coxon, The Noisettes, Nick Drake, The Divine Comedy, The Futureheads, Guillemots, Gogol Bordello, Super Furry Animals, Interpol, Klaxons, The Libertines, Ludes, Larrikin Love, Ladyfuzz, Neutral Milk Hotel, Jeff Mangum, Gruff Rhys, Voxtrot, Of Montreal, Pulp, Queen, Radiohead, Rival Joustas, Sex Pistols, The Spinto Band, Rufus Wainwright, The Young Knives, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire, Count Cacolac, The Coral, We Are Scientists, Badly Drawn Boy, The Cure, Daniel Johnston, Muse, Pulp, Blur, Beirut. I like lots of music, but I am reluctant to list it all because I may only like a few songs by the band or I may not have bought a cd by them.

Movies:

Harvey, The NeverEnding Story, Pan's Labyrinth, The Science Of Sleep, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Tideland, Twelve Monkeys, Brazil, Studio Ghibli films, Return To Oz and Flight Of The Navigator to name a few
and Tim Burton films. All of them: Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (even though he didn't direct), Ed Wood, Mars Attacks!, Sleepy Hollow, Planet of the Apes, Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Tim Burton's Corpse Bride and Sweeney Todd.

Television:

The Mighty Boosh, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Trigger Happy TV, World Shut Your Mouth, Eerie Indiana, Jim Henson's The Storyteller, The Fast Show, Help!, Grimm Tales, Look Around You, Shooting Stars, Reeves and Mortimer, QI, The Simpsons, Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe and anything with Tim Burton on it.

Books:

Edgar Allan Poe, Roald Dahl, Lemony Snicket, Jules Verne and any books by or pertaining to Tim Burton including The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and other stories. But mainly I love Edgar Allan Poe as far as well-known authors go. If you haven't read The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, The Black Cat or The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether, then you should do so right this second!

Heroes:

People who inspire me; interesting people, talented people who I am in awe of. These include: Tim Burton, Edgar Allan Poe, Wayne Coyne, Nadia Deane, Terry Gilliam, among many others.
