I've decided it's about time to update this section and simplify it a bit. Okay, here's the basics:I'm a musician that plays for the band Coilback (see the banner above to check that out). I do lead vocals and guitar and do all the lyric writing and a good portion of the songwriting. I'm currently going to school for 3D animation, but I tend to try and learn all sorts of artistic and technical things not associated with my major. I'm half Asian - half White. No, that isn't my real age, and it's done that way to keep the psychos from easily finding me on searches. I have had entirely too much drama from too many people that try to turn everyone's life into a tabloid cover, so before talking to me, read the "I'd like to Meet" section first.I've done several things job wise in my life. I'm currently working as a custom framer. Yes, I'm certified and all that. My other main job is a professional licensed pyrotechnician. To give you an idea, I've also been a head video game and laser tag technician, Microsoft technical support rep, , in the Air Force (Military Intel), Excel power user, Admin, Weapons coordinator / Fight Choreographer (movies - martial arts), freelance graphic design artist, freelance website designer, and I even do some photography.Vehicle wise, I like either big trucks (not huge monster trucks, just full size trucks) or sports cars.Currently, I'm working towards a degree so I can get the hell out of Texas and move to Florida. I'm tired of the people I know over here that spend more time drooling over the next blog they can read and try to spread rumors about (or the losers that just invent stuff in their own heads and try to spread it - you know who you are).

My Interests

Music. Art. Music. People in general, but I tend to be a little anti-social. I like meeting new people, but I don't like meeting psychos or idiots. That's getting old real fast. I'm into all sorts of stuff, and try to be tolerant of other people's interests as long as they don't try to be judgemental with mine. Love stand up comedy - Mitch Hedburg, Jeff Dunham (on a steeeek), Eddie Izzard, Dave Chappelle, Carlos Mencia, Dane Cook, Rowan Atikison, Louis Ramey. Bought a multiformat DVD (PAL and NTSC) just so I could play all of Eddie Izzard's stuff.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone drama free. If you have tendency to gossip, overreact, and spend more time dwelling in a problem than trying to fix it - stay away from me. Past that, just laid back, low maintenance people who don't require a call every five minutes to know they are your friends.Musicians and artists are always welcome, but they still have to fit the description above as well.

Okay, here's the stop motion film I did for my animation class this semester. I've uploaded it to my videos as well, but I'll leave it on here for a bit.

Here's a live montage from one of the most talented DJs I've seen. He goes by Mike Relm and he controls not only the sound, but coordinates the video as well (all live). His MySpace is http://www.myspace.com/mikerelm - go check him out.

Music:

Obviously, since I do a lot of songwriting for my band, I tend to listen to that quite a bit (Coilback). Otherwise, some cool groups are: White Zombie (and Rob), My Chemical Romance, Jet, Godsmack, Metallica (mainly older), NIN, Pantera, Ministry, Marilyn Manson, Jewel, Shakira, The Beatles, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Van Halen (EDDIE !!!), (HED)PE, Tool, Ghoultown, Rock City Morgue, Black Eyed Peas, Skrew, Korn, and tons of other bands...I'm just sick of typing right now.

Movies:

Pirates of the Carribean (all of them), Fast & Furious - Tokyo Drift (the others were pretty good too), Lion King (and Lion King 1 1/2), Aladdin (and King of Thieves, but NOT Return of Jafar), The Matrix (yes, I liked all 3), Fight Club, Moulin Rouge, Yellow Submarine, The Doors, anything Monty Python, Bubba Ho-Tep, Army Of Darkness, Evil Dead 1 & 2, Spinal Tap, Jackie Chan films, The Crow (just the first one), Serenity, The Fifth Element, Half Baked, Harold & Kumar go to White Castle, Underworld, Hard Days Night, Help !, The Others, and The Cell.

Television:

Mythbusters, Firefly (bring it back), Penn & Teller B.S., Good Eats, Who's Line Is It Anyway, Daily Show (Jon Stewart), The Colbert Report, South Park, and a lot of the Adult Swim Toons (Space Ghost, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, and sometimes Sealab 2021). Past that, I tend to flip around, but end up on the History Channel and Food Network (yes, I cook) a lot. I don't do sitcoms well.

Books:

Speculation type stuff - makes for good songwriting material. Not fiction, but stuff that could be fiction or true. Like Templar Revelation, Atlantis, Hidden History of Egypt...crap like that.

Heroes:

I don't eat many sandwiches.
