I am not Katie Holmes, nor am I affiliated with her in any way. This is just a fansite, and everyone is welcome to join.
Kate Noelle Holmes was born December 18, 1978 in Toledo, Ohio, the youngest of five children. She attended an all-girls Catholic school and was very active in the school's theatre program. She did some modeling as a teenager, but grew bored with it so she went on to become an actress. She sent in many audition tapes until she was cast in her first movie, The Ice Storm (1997).
From then on, the way was paved for her success. She went on to play the part of Joey Potter in the wildly successful teen tv series, Dawson's Creek (1998-2003) and starred in many movies during this time.
On June 17th 2005, she became engaged to actor, Tom Cruise whom she eventually married in a lavish Italian ceremony on November 18, 2006. Their daughter, Suri, was born April 18, 2006. She continues to juggle her role as wife, mother, and actress.
