Created in 2006 by its CEO/Founder Big Al, Down 4 Mine Records is more than a record label or a movement... its a way of life!!! Focused on strictly making "reality rap" music, Big Al is a breath of fresh air in the industry full of "fake rappers", who talk about things they never did or witnessed. Big Al prides himself on being able to make hardcore street records, while keeping his level of lyricism up to par. Also, he is gifted to appeal to the ladies without sacrificing his "street credibility". A well rounded artist, who has been writing rhymes since the age of 15, Big Al is currently working on his upcoming project, properly titled "Blood, Sweat & Tears" which is due in the first quarter of 2009. He already appeared in such publications as Hip Hop Weekly and Hood Illustrated, soon to be known and recognized nationwide.
