Ello ello :)So, my name is Jordyn Kay Shellhart, and I'm 15 years old.I'm a musician first, and that's the most noteworthy thing about me. I play piano and guitar, and I can think of very few things that are more important to me than songwriting.Bells and whistles are not really my thing. Most shiny objects do not fascinate me, and I think that tiny wedding rings are much more charming than the flashy kind. Something with character means more to me than something polished, because it has a story. It has a depth that goes beneath the polish and sparkles. That is why I love music.
Because it's real, no matter what style or genre.I love laughter, little kids, rainbows, and puppies. At the same time, I'm fascinated with fire and surgery.I’m a deep thinker but a child at heart. I’m an open book, but for some people I’m written in a foreign language. I’m a heartbreaking realist but a too-big-for-my-britches dreamer.I'm too small for my own good. If I ever need to be ferocious I imagine it would be difficult for anyone to take me seriously. Like a kitten pretending to be a lion.High heels and dancing are my worst enemies. I LOVE jeans, bracelets, rings, and tie-dye.Mostly, I love people. Studying and meeting people is like my hobby. I'm really not hard to get along with...if you're nice, I want to be friends with you.My favorite animal is the Blue-footed Booby. Don't judge. Google it!I have a list of 162 things to do before I die...so I'm ambitious. ;)I'm from a tiny little town in Wyoming called Wheatland. You couldn't find it on a map if you tried. I grew up in Santa Rosa, California, and it's beautiful there and in every area surrounding it. Then I moved to Nashville when I was 10.
I have 3 homes, but Nashville is where I belong.I'm an avid pacifist, and I believe harmony is not unreachable. Yin and yang!I am a fan of LIFE, and I believe in LOVE.
...and I think that dreams are all that you can really count on to be there for you no matter what. So why not chase after them??peace&&love,

- June 19, 2009: Jordyn reveals top-secret surprise to me...hmm...wonder what it is :) :) :)
- June 8-10, 2009: Jordyn opens for Chris Isaak, and flies on a private jet for the first time.
- February 4, 2009: Jordyn plays her first writers round at Pucketts in Franklin.
- September 30, 2008: Jordyn officially signs publishing deal with SeaGayle Music Publishing at 14 years old.
- March 28, 2008: Jordyn meets with mystery publishing company, the day after her 14th birthday.
