Chapter 1. AL-FATIHA (THE OPENING)
001.001: In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
001.002: Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
001.003: Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
001.004: Master of the Day of Judgment.
001.005: Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
001.006: Show us the straight way,
001.007: The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose is not wrath, and who go not astray.
Surah 93. The Morning Hours, Morning Bright!
93:1 By the Glorious Morning Light,
Waaldduha
93:2 And by the Night when it is still,-
Waallayli itha saja
93:3 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased.
Ma waddaAAaka rabbuka wama qala
93:4 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present.
Walal-akhiratu khayrun laka minaal-oola
93:5 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased.
Walasawfa yuAAteeka rabbuka fatarda
93:6 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)?
Alam yajidka yateeman faawa
93:7 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance.
Wawajadaka dallan fahada
93:8 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent.
Wawajadaka AAa-ilan faaghna
93:9 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness,
Faamma alyateema fala taqhar
93:10 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard);
Waamma alssa-ila falatanhar
93:11 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim!
Waamma biniAAmati rabbika fahaddith
