About Me

Lisa Albrecht (no longer Parrish) is a Portland native. She grew up listening to country music and has been influenced by so many different musicians and songwriters like Emmylou Harris and Kathleen Edwards. Her first memories of music are her mom and grandma playing the piano at family gatherings. Following in their footsteps, she started playing piano at age eight and by eleven she was singing. She quickly picked up songwriting and found her passion in writing originals.Lisa has been creating a unique blend of country, folk, and rock for years that is evident in her debut album "Alive" in 2005. Her sweet yet powerful vocals coupled with her memorable songwriting style has built her a solid fan base and local radio play. Her style has since evolved into an acoustic, folk, alt-country sound and she put together an acoustic group called Bridge Creek in 2007.
