Chrissie released her debut EP, 'Do You Remember' in mid 1999, and enlisted the talents of Paul Colman (PC3, Newsboys), Grant Norsworthy (PC3, Sonicflood), Phil Gaudion (PC3), Stephen Paix and Al Neuendorf to record it, with Paul producing the seven track mix of acoustic pop, blues and folk.
Chrissie has honed her performing skills by performing solo and with bands at pubs, hotels, concerts and festivals in both Australia and the UK. The festivals include Greenbelt, Forest Edge, Cooma 2000 and Blackstump.
UK music journalist, Mike Rimmer, has described Chrissie’s music as "acoustic yet powerful, joyful yet deep, mellow yet uplifting". Her music has also been rated and reviewed at www.triplejunearthed/chrissiepearce and her song “Disconnections†was given a five star rating and the following review: “This track is unique and I think that is it's main selling point. The rhythm, phrasing, and dynamics really take the song to the next level off the 'ordinary' shelf. Definitely worth keeping an eye on this artist.â€
In early 2008, three of Chrissie's songs hit the top 20 on the Roots Charts on the Triple J Unearthed website and “Waiting For You†was performed live by Chrissie and broadcast on Sydney’s local channel, TVS.
Currently, Chrissie is recording her debut album which is being recorded at The Grove Studios in NSW and produced by Peter Wallis and Trevor Beck. The album is set to be released in September 09.
