O Ansata foi formado em 1997 com o intuito de tocar covers das bandas que influenciaram seus integrantes. Após diversos shows e uma grande aceitação por parte do público, decidem começar a compor suas próprias músicas. Diversas mudanças de formação ocorreram desde o início da banda, o que acabou por atrapalhar o processo de composição e gravação, mas em 2002 lançam sua primeira música intitulada Above Them All na coletânea Rock Soldiers Vol.7 com distribuição no Brasil e na Alemanha. Em 2004 resolvem parar por um tempo, mas continuam tocando juntos em outros projetos e em 2008 retornam para a gravação de seu álbum de estréia. Com o lançamento da música Lord Of The Dead, conquistam posição de destaque em sites como MySpace e PalcoMp3 apresentando um som com influencias que vão do Hard Rock ao Rock Progressivo com elementos da musica clássica e oriental, sem deixar de lado o peso do Metal. No dia 14 de julho de 2008, com o apoio do Estúdio Apache, lançam o álbum Crux Ansata e começam uma serie de shows divulgando o material.

In 1997, the band called Ansata was formed with the idea of playing covers of the bands that have influenced its members. After several shows and being very well accepted by the public, they have decided to compose their own songs. Since the beginning of the band, it has suffered many line-up changes and, because of that, the composition and recording process has become disrupted. But in 2002 they released their first song called Above Them All as part of a compilation album called Rock Soldiers Vol.7, which was distributed in Brazil and Germany. In 2004, they decided to stop for an indefinite period of time, but they’ve kept on playing together in another projects and only in 2008, they returned with Ansata to finally record its debut album. With the single Lord Of The Dead, they’ve achieved a high position at sites like MySpace and PalcoMP3, performing a sound with several influences that go from Hard Rock to Progressive Rock, with some Classical and Oriental music elements but without leaving the Metal sound behind. In 2008, on July 14th, with the Apache Studio support, they released the album called Crux Ansata and with it they’ve begun a series of shows to publicize their material.
