about me, I was not for fortunate enough to have been raised in a christian family.I actually came to know the Lord in 2001 and was Baptized in Sept.2001. I came to the Lord with alot of baggage because I came from the world. I was born and raised in Bronx NY. My mother was a single parent of three, I am the youngest out of the sibilings. As a single parent my mother had to work more than one job to take care of the family, so that left us with alot of free time, idle time, unsupervised time. Basically the streets raised me and I got into everything that I had no business getting into as a young man growing up. BUT GOD IS GOOD he had a plan for me. I came to realize that I had to go through what I've been through to be the man that I am today.
My gift of poetry: Throughout my life I was never inspired to be a poet or a rapper or any type of public speaker.Immediately after my baptisim in 2001 I started to backslide to my old ways, so upon the advise of my Pastor, Rev. Dennis Hall I returned home and started calling on the Lord from my heart and asking him to come back into my life, this went on for two days, then some words started coming into my head and I started to repeat them. I knew instantly that I needed to right them down, I also knew that I needed to recite them at church that following sunday.Hence my first poem came about.The title of my first poem is called (I love the Lord) it is featured in my song's playlist. Please take a listen, the poem was recorded live the day I recited it. No recording can truley capture the moment when the Holy spirit is flowing, and on that day the spirit was real thick up in my church, it was a very memorable day for me.Since then I have grown more in the Lord also my gift has grown. The Lord has led me to write numerous poems he also have opened up to me so many venues to share his word. I have been blessed to have been on several local cable shows such as Open Mic, and The Crows Nest. I have been blessed to share a word for the local troops here in Charlotte coming home from Iraq. I have recited at countless community festivals and different church events. I Love reciting and I love the Lord.
