Martin Martin's On The Other Side is my first novel, published by Jonathan Cape in January, 2008. It's set in a near-ish future and narrated by a low-level government employee called Jensen Interceptor who runs focus groups. He is re-assigned to investigate a terrorist cell who worship a long-dead television psychic, and life becomes very peculiar for poor Jensen.
