Rita May ,1945 WRAF operations room , busily pushing small planes across a map of the coast , leaning over the table with all her stockings showing making the Ops Major nearly swallow his pipe ! Boy has he gone red - and whats that in his pocket ? The lights are swinging on their chains as the bombs land all around , but no-one notices .There is a job to do and ... All the lights are out , no one moves and the rubble is stained red , smoking and the bombs keep falling , the noise never stops. Suddenly the girl sits upright in the corner bed, she's white as a sheet and shouts " i'm a good girl i am !" . She's looking round confused by everything ,kinda scared but spitting like an alleycat . Doctors run in , but keep their distance , there's a hundred questions but no answers . Rita May looks around she knows the answers to some of the questions but she's not saying - after all she must be in some kind of prison , its all so foreign to her ! Still hospital in brixton 2005 is a pretty foreign experience for anybody . What will she do ..........................
