Chaos.
The past 2 years of my life has been the most profound years of my life. I have learned more than my entire life, and that is not just in one aspect but it many, Never before has the term "The Truth Shall Set You Free" had more meaning.
To the point though, I am free, even if I reside in bondage, I am Free. that is important, because without freedom we have nothing, even though in this day and age we have let ourselves become slaves.
I am a musician I spend a lot of time writing lyrics, and a lot of time turning those lyrics into music, I am in a group with two of my best friends, I will refer to them here as MC Faust, and Block the Hologram, and in a musical sense you can refer to me as Dekayed. My name is Jake. The content of our music is more easily described as "Truth" from however a diluted perspective.
I feel that all the things going around in our world are rather serious and grave, and I feel that people are just starting to wake up to these issues on a large scale. I believe that together we all have the ability to change our world. "Not one person can do everything but everyone can do something." However I do believe it is largely important to have fun, you can't dedicate all your energy to a cause and leave no time for yourself. Nor do I think that you should spend your time focusing on the Negative, or the problem. "Dancing on the graves of the Fallen" is how Mac Lethal put it or something similar.
Life is a Dream. So I'm going to have fun, but if I have the chance I'm going to do what I can to make the dream better for everyone else, even those who do not view it as a dream.
There's probably a lot more you could know "About Me" but reading about me isn't going to help you reach that understanding. so im going to leave you all with a quote, a very powerful quote at that.
"Life is like a ride in an amusement park. When you go on it, you think it's real, because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down and around and around; it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud and it's fun for awhile. Some have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question: is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered and they come back to us and they say, 'Hey! Don't worry! Don't be afraid ever, because this is just a ride!'
And we kill those people.
'Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride! Shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This has to be real.'
It's just a ride. But we kill those good guys who try to tell us that, you ever notice that? And we let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride, and we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a choice right now, between fear and love."
