Taylor Parks

Born Taylor Monet Parks in Dallas, TX, 16-yr old Taylor relocated to the Los Angeles area when she was 11 to train with some of the best pros in the entertainment industry. Taylor was discovered in TX by famed actress/director/choreographer Debbie Allen at a dance intensive. Allen would later cast Taylor as a lead in her musical "Dancing In The Wings" which debuted at D.C.'s prestigious Kennedy Center. Taylor would go on to land TV and film roles on shows such as "Gilmore Girls" and "Everybody Hates Chris". Her big break came this summer when she sang and danced her way into the hearts of millions of moviegoers in the role of Lil Inez in the summer blockbuster film "Hairspray". Taylor also sings on the Grammy nominated, platinum selling Hairspray movie soundtrack in "Run Tell That" - one of the movie's most popular tunes. Taylor has been featured in several magazines in the U.S. and Canada as one of the year's rising stars. She has a voice beyond her years and an infectious personality to match.
