Born in the 1982 in Catania i start studing electric guitar and composition with Roberto Calì in 1995. I was singer and composer of the instrumentals for the Hip hop group Bantam Gentlemen 'til the year 2000. In the 2001 i start jamming with Filippo Giuffrè Marco Bellone and Angelo Sicurella so i start my improviser career. In 2002 we found a duo with Filippo Giuffrè playing only television, the name was Johnny Catodic & Macrobiotic Sam. In 2003 i started playing saxophone. In 2004, living in Naples i graduate myself in sound engineering and start working with the theatre, composing electronic music for "Delirium" by Marco Luciano from Arrabal. In the same year i start working with Mamadou Dioume, director and actor who long worked with Peter Brook, composing and live performing in various shows by his company. In the 2005 i composed electronic music for the documentary "Criket Cup" produced by Teatri Uniti. In the yar 2006 i composed and live performed music for the show "Bimbo di Sabbia" written by Marco Picello for Teatro Agricolo. Jumping to the early 2007 i found with Giuffrè and Bellone the improviser trio Cavallo Wanislavskji.
In the same year i joined the theatre group Teatro della Beffa and, with Yuri Dini and Giulia Borghi, create the experimental electric performance "Manfred" from Lord Byron. In the meanwhile i continued playing with various musician in the improviser scene of Bologna. Finally in the may 2008 i co-found the Bologna Improvisers Orchestra and the record label Eclectic Polpo records. I also actually work as sound engineer and event organizer for the Label Lazzarecords.
