I was born 11-14-78 as Amanda Lyn Carpenter in Petoskey, Michigan (one of the coolest places on the earth!). Mandy has been my nickname from my family since childhood so by 6th grade that is what I went by. By the time I was almost 2 we moved to Utah for a short time while my dad was in grad school, then moved to Marshall, Minnesota till I was 5. Then to Sioux Falls, South Dakota from 5-12 yrs old. We moved in the middle of 6th grade to Fort Collins, Colorado where I went through junior high and high school. I moved to Utah the fall after graduation and lived in Provo while attending Utah Valley State College for my Associate of Arts degree. I just love Utah. Shortly after graduating I moved to Salt Lake City to work. My friends loved road tripping and for Labor Day 2002 we went to Mesa, AZ for a little vacation. This is how I met my (now) husband Blake Kimball through mutual friends. My husband Blake and I have been married for almost 5 years! Wow! We bought a new house in September 2006 which we will be growing into by August when we will be expecting our first baby!! We are SO excited!! I am working full time as a Training Specialist at the University of Phoenix in the office of admissions. I also go to school full time and am in my senior year in hopes to complete my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in Dec '08! This will be a busy and rewarding '08! (to say the least)

My favorite time of year...

So right now in AZ is my favorite time of year because the orange trees blossom and I just LOVE that smell...plus Blake's parents have orange trees so we get to make fresh squeezed OJ the whole months...

Let me just save you some time...

and recommend NEVER seeing the movie CLICK... I like Adam Sandler...but this was just too weak. We saw it on the 4th of July. The first half of the movie was just lame crude jokes that aren't even fun...
