Hey Guys!!My name is Jamie-Louise Lamb. I was born 18th August 1987 and I have lived in Christchurch my whole life.My first stage performance came at a young age playing Mary in the playschool nativity. As a confident reader I often got the roles of the narrator during the plays at primary school and took an active part in the choir. Taking dancing lessons in ballet, tap and modern dance soon after.Having grown up in a large family I was bought up listening to a variety of music and my first singing experience came at 7 years old when I sang the Tammy Winnette version of D.I.V.O.R.C.E in a holiday camp karaoke competition being awarded 2nd place.After joining secondary school in year 7 I auditioned for the school choir and not long after was encouraged to take classical singing lessons with the schools music teacher. I got the courage to perform my first solo in the Christmas play aged 14 and this soon became a regular occurrence.I successfully auditioned for the National Youth Training Choir of Great Britain and spent two summers performing with them throughout the UK. I decided to take some singing exams and I eventually gained a grade 7 with the Guildhall School of music.After leaving school I decided to venture into singing more ‘popular’ music and I entered several of the South’s talent competitions. I successfully got through to the final in all except for one competition.Between the ages of 16 and 18 I spent most weekends singing in Hotels, Holiday Camps, Pubs and Clubs even making one regular appearance in a barn!! I have recently rediscovered my passion for entertaining, performing at both Landmarc Bournemouth and the opera house Boscome in the Talentcall competition heats and final.I am available to perform Cabaret slots and also for the whole evening. I sing a variety of music from the 50’s up to present day I even have one song in my set that was written back in 1929! My sets include songs from artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Shania Twain, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Anastacia, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Elton John, Bette Midler, Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland, Corrine Bailey Rae, KT Tunstall, Supremes, Tina Turner, Gladis Knight, Beverly Knight, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Joss Stone Kelly Pickler, Suzy Boguss and many more.Please visit www.jamielouiselamb.webs.com to contact me! x
