My Interests

I play guitar and I love working with other musicians on writing and developing songs and arranging music. I love listening to music, watching movies, and occasionally reading books. Anything with a good story involved...
I love people, especially the weird ones like myself. I earned a BA in Philosophy, but I'm not all that interested in studying it anymore. I am a thinker and I enjoy talking about philosophy, but only until it starts going in circles (which is usually sooner than most people realize).
I enjoy writing, but all I have is a bunch of disconnected lines and lyrics because I don't have the discipline to really develop them.

I'd like to meet:

Pretty much anyone

Music:

Some of my favorite albums: Graceland (Paul Simon), Achtung Baby (U2), Kid A (Radiohead), Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (Smashing Pumpkins)... I'll add more later. Other bands/artists that I love: Sufjan Stevens, Ryan Adams, Elliott Smith, Counting Crows, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Sigur Ros, Death Cab for Cutie, Postal Service, Over the Rhine.

And check out this band!

Movies:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, Magnolia, The Big Lebowski, Northfork, Tommy Boy, Old School, Anchorman, Zoolander, Life Aquatic, Royal Tenenbaums, Bottlerocket, Pulp Fiction, Garden State...

Television:

I don't watch TV, but there are a few shows that I buy or rent on DVD. Family Guy is the funniest show ever. Six Feet Under has me addicted right now.

My Blog

the working-man blues...

My workplace had a makeover. Six months ago, it was laid-back, really cool, and enjoyable. It was a godsend for me--salvation from unemployment, the promise of hope for a financially stable future, an...
