Once he realized his words can dictate the mood of a crowd, he fell in love with performing. Gr8 Skot is a battle mc by trade, with silly jokes & punch lines that instantly got him thrown into New York's battle circuit where he earned respect & what he calls "Hip Hop minimum wage". After receiving "Fat tape" in the Source for a recorded battle "Lunchroom Take Out" he began touring & performing with the Arsonists in venues across the US, Canada & Europe. The ins & outs of the Music industry have humbled Gr8 Skot. Through out his career he has been fortunate in sharing the stage with many artists including, EPMD, D'Angelo, Third Base, Beat Minors, Non Phixion, Atmosphere, Kanye West, Mr lif, High & mighty, among many others. After dropping out of the battle circuit in 2001 he put out the single "Check" with D-Stroy of the Arsonists & DJ White Shadow of Norway. While branching out Gr8 Skot entertained the masses by Co-hosting Draft Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio & "The Trash man Show". Whether it is solo projects, cameos, videos, commercials or TV, This guy is always trying to make something happen.
