About Me

There is much in this world that lays a person's character bare for all to see; actions, possessions, and words are among the most important because the most fundamental. There is one goal that I fancy myself to have that supersedes all others, and that is living my life as a representative of Christ. I fall short often, and with sometimes terrific visuals as I do. But these shortcomings are only motivation to continue to purge from myself all that I can that keeps me from being what I should be. It is a unity that I seek, but not a unity that demands absorption; rather a unity that demands adherence and love. I lose myself for Christ, so that I might reach the world, but in so losing myself I am not lost, but found and individualized in God for greater accomplishments. This conflict as I attempt to lose myself for Christ and fail repeatedly makes up my existence. Behold the man! Behold the sinner! Behold the redeemed!
I like steak, a good hurricane drink, an occasional beer, and hanging out with my friends. Music is my love. I like to sing, play, compose and listen to it. Hard work is my lot. I have many bills to pay. Hah! Life is like that though. Theology and philosophy are my most entertaining topics of discussion. I like to read history, my second favorite topic. Such I am, and so I remain. Change comes and I grow to appreciate it. Get to know me and my wealth of friends and knowledge increases as well. Whether yours does or not, that is hard to say : ) Some would rather never have known me!!!! To those I apologize.
