About Me

Blindside Publishing is a "new" independent publisher of dark literature.
Blindside Publishing originally opened its http://blindside.net website in March 1998 to be the publisher of the internet webzine EXODUS and later became the storing point, too, for Project Pulp, which is now a successful webstore for independent books & magazines from around the globe at http://projectpulp.com . Project Pulp also has its own MySpace at myspace.com/projectpulp .
Blindside Publishing announced in 2005 that it would begin a book line. It has since released its debut title in January 2006 and will follow up with its first hardcover in the spring/summer of this year. Blindside Publishing is currently open to unsolicited submissions and queries for future titles.
Blindside's debut release, Greg F. Gifune's latest novel A VIEW FROM THE LAKE , is now shipping and available for order from the website, Project Pulp, and many other venues. Ask for it from your local bookseller.
Blindside Publishing also publishes Wicked Hollow Magazine , a pocket-sized journal of dark literature, poetry, and art since January 2002. Issue 9 was released November 2005 and all copies are hand-numbered and signed by the editor Jon Hodges.
Some things they've had to say about Greg F. Gifune's novel A View from the Lake: "It's subtle, haunting, brilliant."
-Ronald Damien Malfi, Author of The Fall of Never, Via Dolorosa "I've done Gifune the disservice of making the book sound terribly ponderous. It's a short novel--less than 200 pages--and in no way does it read like some bloated philosophical treatise. On the contrary, part of the what's best here is that he has mastered his craft so well that he renders a dense and thoughtful world in ways that are interesting and readable, chilling and entertaining."
-Bill Hughes, Dred "Greg Gifune is, quite simply, one of the absolute best new voices in dark fiction. He's a best kept secret that won't remain a secret much longer. A new Gifune is always a treat for me."
-Brian Keene, Author of The Rising, Terminal, & City of the Dead
