Charles Bass is a Chicago Native. He was largely influenced by WBMX, the Hot Mix 5, and listening to 90.5. He has always had an interest in music; not just house but new wave, industrial, techno, and Drum N Bass. While living in Spain and throughout the U.S. he saw how much influence Chicago has had throughout the world. Upon his return, he practiced up on his skills and teamed up with friends to form Underground Soljazz. He would play to crowds of 50 - 10,000. He would also be a resident DJ for Boogie Tribe and RIPE Productions, playing along with some of the worlds Top DJ’s. He would also get to travel and play at the Winter Music Conference In Miami. During this time Charles Bass worked at the legendary “DJ International Record Store†as a Buyer and formed the Chicagobass Collective. He promoted the Underground Soljazz Parties at Rapture and Soiree Loft Party Series and Urban Sessions at various venues. Charles Bass is currently working on music and has plans ..ing his Mp3 Label.
