Worlds Of Mind is the musical endeavors of myself (Justen Foss). It is the name that I have been writing music under since 2000 when I first began writing my own music. All of the music is written by me and is a direct reflection of my feelings and opinions on the world. The music makes its home in Chicago Illinois where I live. All of the songs are focused heavily on there lyrics and ideas about feelings, experiences, love, hate, and life. Because the music is so simple and it is weighted on the lyrics I would like to think of myself as a modern day songwriter of wich I feel there are not very many left. Maybe I am part of a dieing breed, who knows? Certianly I would like to think you can find something in the music that gets you to feel something.
It is a fairly unconventional form of music and I am aware of that and am more than alright with it. I try to keep it without sets of rules keeping it in any sort of boundries and with as little influence as I can. Because of this it is sure to be different from most of what you have heard around the area. I keep the music fairly plain and simple and take pride in how affective this simple music can be. It helps me to keep going in day to day life knowing that I can express myself when I pick up a guitar. Who knows maybe you can connect with my art and it can help you with something even if it is just a little bit.
