Laury

My name is Laura, but most people call me Lau or Laury. I adore music and arts, and I play cello since I was 14. I could not imagine my life without art and music, it would be worthless. I have a great relationship with my family, it's easy cause it's just a few of us. Time passes and we're fewer. I collect items, photos, papers and documents that belonged to my ancestors. I feel a deep respect for my blood and where I come from (even if I wasn't born there, my soul was). I would have loved to meet my great grandfather Milan Kausic. I sometimes feel I don't belong anywhere, I still don't know where my place is. Beautiful music and/or beautiful words can break me down and make me cry. I'm angry that Beethoven lost his hearing. I think it's one of the most sad things I can think of. I like the feeling of the sublime. I love the sea. One day I want to travel to Croatia to see the place where my grandma was born. I still miss my first dog. Objects that were given to me by the most important people in my life are my treasure. I seek refuge in music. And I always find it. I love tattoos and piercings, but most of all the process of getting them done. I hate stupid or bad movies and books. I love to read, I can read the same book lots of times and I'll always find it fascinating. I'm an only child and I would have wanted a brother or a sister. Even if we're not related by blood I love Sole as if we were. I often think how insignificant my life is in this universe, but how important it is to me. I would love to learn everything I can. I want to die while I'm still myself. I am very sensitive and insecure. I have been through my own personal hell. And I made my way out. I never said it outloud, but I'm proud of it. Art has been in my life since I can remember. I am extremely proud of my heritage. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing, even if there are things I regret. This is me, in my own words...
