Tony LaJoye is Singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and award winning percussionist. He has been performing music professionally since the tender age of 12. Though he generally sticks to his guitar-loop style solo performances, he also plays the drums, piano, steel drums and all sorts of percussion instruments. One-man band? More like a one-man music army!!!
Tony has performed with such bands/musicians as: Is You Is, Candid Avenue, The Tony LaJoye Jazz Trio, Ed Englerth, Les Jazz, The Pacific Trio, Filbert and the Mixed Nuts, The Grand River Blue Cats, Nixon & Vintage New, Stevie Soul, and many others.
He is currently touring to promote his debut solo album entitled: “Monsterâ€, and is in the studio with his band “Is You Isâ€, working on there debut full length. Look for it!
