About Me

Oh, let's see... I like to roll around on the carpet with my dogs. I enjoy driving in traffic and pounding on the steering wheel while shouting obscenities. I've been known to play lots of musical instruments really badly. Hmm... I like to do lots of physical activities that later render my whole body useless for days at a time. Here's a good one: I teach kids that MTV is evil. What else...? I appreciate quiet!! I eat a lot of sushi and red meat. I like wearing old suits but rarely get the opportunity. I listen to music constantly. I enjoy confounding people with my choices. I like going to the opera one night, then to see a punk band the next. I get a kick out of reading "The Iliad" and following that with a Calvin and Hobbes comic book. Is that enough!!!?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Someone who has their own sense of style, but is not interested in "fashion". Someone who can go to the opera one night and a dive club the next. Someone who can be happy staying home watching a movie, but also can be a bit of a nighthawk. Someone who can be comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, or an elegant dress. Someone who will be charmed and delighted at my dogs howling or any number of other simple, ridiculous things. Someone who will go to a crummy carnival, make fun of how rickety the old tilt-a-whirl is, but then go on it anyway. Someone who really has a connection with Amelie (from the film). Someone who will just start running for no reason. Someone who's just nerdy enough.
