Go!, Franz Ferdinand, Sublime, Black Eyed Peas, Sufjan Stevens, Panic! at the Disco, the Killers, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Maroon 5, Lauryn Hill, The Who, Rolling Stones & the Beatles, Raul Midon, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Death Cab for Cutie, John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd, Joss Stone, Green Day, Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, Cree Summer, etc.
And, of course, many musicals - The favorites are Ruthless!, Into the Woods, Urinetown, Infinite Joy (sorta counts as a musical...) and Songs for a New World - I think Spamalot is pretty hilarious too - the lady of the lake is awesome!
Old School! Knocked Up, Blades of Glory, The Last King of Scotland, Hotel Rwanda (all this Africa work stuff has engaged me a lot more in these movies) Super Troopers, Team America, Borat was pretty funny..., Wedding Crashers, Office Space, The Notebook, Happy Gilmore, the Parent Trap (the old one... :) )Anchorman, pretty much anything with Will Ferrell - and Crash is one of the best movies ever. I cried a lot.
Favorites are the Daily Show, Colbert Report, Grey's Anatomy, the Hills, Real World & Deadliest Catch. And I'm into the Legally Blonde, the Musical casting show on MTV...ah, the guilty pleasure shows.
I'm currently reading Freakonomics.
