As of the present, BrothersGuess is about two souls (Robbie & Terry), writing and recording material that comes from our hearts and life experiences. Hopefully everybody that hears it can relate to it in some kind of fashion. Robbie has been playing and writing for over 40 years, myself approximently 10. In 1978 Robbie had a terrible car accident that left him a double amputee after nearly five years in the hosipital and rehabilitation. There are a few pictures on our page that show just what a terrible ride he had taken. He had been playing in several local bands and with other musicians years before his accident. He had written many songs that he never recorded that were lost after his accident. Robbie had to re-learn to play guitar all over again. This is where he is blessed, also where I came back in the picture. I had been playing guitar with Robbie when I was about 12 to 16 years of age. I had been playing off and on for a while but nothing serious so I had put the guitar to the side for many years. One day after Robbie had been practicing after his accident, he started playing this song I remembered him playing over 30 years ago. It is called "Without You" which had always been a favorite song to everybody that had ever heard it. "Without You" is a song that we are presently in work recording and hope to have it out very soon! Soon after the World Trade Centers were attacked, he wrote a song called "Freedom" which is a tune any Red Boolded American could relate to. This is when I went out and bought a Yamaha AW16G Recorder. The best thig I ever did! Robbie and I had started playing in a local band called the Double "R" / "T" band and played several local venues around the area. The band has since parted ways. Now we are in the middle of recording and very soon will have our latest material up for listening. Our goal is not become the next "Big Show" and tour, we just like having fun doing a couple of gigs a month. Our dreams and hope is to have an established Artist, should they like our material, take it and run with it. We have had the opportunity to meet several Artists and appreaciate meeting each and everyone. T.G. Sheppard is one of them. He took our song "Lost in Love" to listen and called us back the next day with great response. Coming from a recording legend as himself, I know we’re on the right track.
