Langy was born in Paris ( France ).
Her mother, Véronique VAN GINNEKEN plays and teach cello, and her father, JO TONGO is an experienced musician.
When she was a baby, her parents could not leave Langy to anyone because she used to become furious to see her parents leaving her alone, so her father took her anywhere he had to go and play music. In studio, TV, even on stage ! She was kept in a "kangooroo bag " on the back of her father! And she realy seemed to have a lo af fun!...At the age of 5, she started ballet, and later on modern jazz and hip hop dancing.
She was a member of "Culture Shock France" for 3 years, a hip hop dance company, and started to teach. At the same time she studied english and spanish at the university of Strasbourg, where she spent most of her life.
Then she starded to peforme as a singer and dancer for different cabaret shows, mainly in Paris, Strasbourg and Lyon ( France ).Langy has always loved singing, she did her first steps with her father's band. She participated to the background vocals in the album AFRO ROOTS of JO TONGO, and interpreted A REAL FRIEND in 2006.
She keeps on travelling and develloping her dancing skills in many places such as Paris, Zurich, Los Angeles, New York... and is currently workink on her first album.
