Aeclypse Gli Aeclypse nascono come gruppo cover dei Dream Theater, chiamato Ytse Jam. Essi nascono dalla mente di due ragazzi di 17 anni, Davide (basso) e Fabio (chitarra), desiderosi di formare un gruppo cover Dream Theater, ovviamente uno dei loro preferiti, se non il loro “preferito”. Trovati i restanti componenti da un'altra band del luogo la formazione finale sarà costituita da: Francesco (voce), Giorgio (tastiera), Paolo (batteria), Fabio (chitarra), Davide (basso).La cover band inizia a provare nell’estate 2006 con soddisfacenti risultati, riuscendo in un breve periodo ad avere un repertorio che si articola con dei pezzi che possono essere definiti dei classici dei Dream theater,tra cui “Pull me under” tratto dall’album” Images And Words”, "The Spirit Carries On” tratto dall’ album” Scenes From A Memory” .I problemi si posero sulla scelta del nome, poiché molte erano state le proposte e i consigli degni di nota... alla fine si andò ad optare su un tanto semplice quanto esemplificativo” Ytse Jam”, tratto dall’omonimo brano presente nel primo album dei Dream Theater:”When Dream and Day Unite” (come si può constatare facilmente, ”Ytse Jam” letto al contrario si traduce in quello che è stato il primo nome dei Dream Theater, ossia ”Majesty”). Nel frattempo Giorgio e Paolo si sono adattati a fare un po’ di backing vocals ad alcune canzoni, così permettendo alla band una migliore riuscita nell’ esecuzione dei brani. Dopo alcuni mesi gli Ytse Jam si esibiscono per la prima volta davanti ad un pubblico, di modeste dimensioni, a Guidonia il 21/10/2006 in occasione di una manifestazione culturale proposta con l’intento di dare spazio ai ragazzi e alle loro capacità artistiche… il successo ottenuto in questa prima comparsa portò la band ad iscriversi e a partecipare al loro primo contest, il “Dreamwave”. Il gruppo riuscì a superare tutte le fasi, giungendo, inaspettatamente, alla finale regionale tenuta nel famoso locale” Jailbreak, The Temple Of Rock” a Roma. La band ha cambiato il nome in Aeclypse dopo la decisione comnune dei componenti e ora è impegnata nella composizione di alcuni pezzi propri del genere "Progressive Metal".
