On June 7th 1981 Pablo Figueroa Jr was born in Buffalo NY , raised in the South Bronx with 2 brothers and 2 sisters, he is the youngest of 5. At the age of 13 Pablo's uncle Casimiro Rodriguez worked at a local radio station WHLD AM 1270. Broadcasting became Pablo's dream that soon started to take a path of becoming true when Casimiro asked him "how would you like to do the roll call".A few years later his family then moved to the Sunshine State taking Pablo with them. At the age of 15 Pablo still had his dream to work at a radio station. One year later Pablo turned on the radio and tuned to WWKQ La Mega. Pablo one day called the radio station and spoke with the program director Victellio Martinez where he asked Pablo "how old are you"? and Pablo answered "I'm 16 and I want to work at your radio station, I would even work for free". Victellio then told Pablo he was too young but did tell him to contact him when he turned 18. Pablo never gave up, a few weeks went by and he called the program director again. Pablo then told Mr. Martinez "please let me do your High School sports" . Mr. Martinez then said yes which in turn made Pablo the happiest person alive to get such a great opportunity. A few weeks passed and Mr. Martinez called Pablo to the office and asked "Pablo you are doing such a good job we would like to offer you your own show therefor you are a permanent staff member of WWKQ". Pablo was then know as Pablo P voice of the city, the youngest radio station personality hitting the airwaves at WWKQ La Mega 88.7. Pablo P now has over 15 years of radio experience serving the greater Orlando area. Pablo P is a prime example that anything that you dream can be accomplished with hard work and persistence. Like his old boss use to say " LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN".
