My hometown is New Orleans, LA. I live in Mississippi now.
I'm currently a senior at PRC.
And I've been accepted to Millsaps for the 2009 fall semester.
I got a scholarship for voice there, and I’m waiting to hear from the theatre department.
I love to have fun.
But I also like to be by myself sometimes.
Sometimes I’m a pessimist, sometimes an optimist.
I have big dreams.
I may not give the impression that I’m sensitive, but I really am.
Once you screw up bad with me, I probably wont talk to you anymore. I have trust issues.
I'm a complete dork. And I enjoy being one.
I am an aggressive driver.
Animals are amazing!
Especially horses, and my dog Sam.
Modest is Hottest.
I LOVE macaroni and chapstick.
I really enjoy leaving goofy messages on my voicemail.
I'm very liberal. I support gay people and female priests.
Get over it. I'm not going to Hell.
I don't like fake people.
I wish it snowed where I live.
Recently I’ve discovered how much Picayune, Mississippi has grown on me. In spite of it’s many flaws.
I like Thanksgiving at my Uncle's house.
I like theme parks. Especially Silver Dollar City.
I don't need a guy to function.
And people that act like they need a lover to get through life make me angry.
I'm an okay painter, and I love art.
I'm a pretty good writer. Though my songs are corny.
I love to sing.
I listen to almost everything except country and rap, with a few exceptions.
I loathe Bob Dylan with every fiber of my being.
I like bands/singers with actual vocal talent.
I LOVE musicals. My favorites of all time are "The Phantom of the Opera." And “Avenue Q.”
I love to read.
One of my favorite authors is William Wordsworth.
I sneeze when I pluck my eyebrows. It fascinates me.
I have a strange fear of accidentally suffocating myself with saran wrap.
I have AMAZING friends, and I love them very much.
Here's a bit about them:
Liz and Bec are the best girl friends ever, always up for a movie night when I'm down, or a "James Bond" moment in Academy when I'm up! We do some really ridiculous stuff, but we have TONS of fun doing it, and we're proud to be losers. We'll be the old ladies in walmart wrecking the electric wheeley chairs in 70 years.
Sonja's been my best friend since Kindergarten, and we just prove that opposites DO attract! We spoon on the couch, and while she’s the partier, I’m the ‘mom.’ =P
Kyle has tolerated me since.. his junior year in high school, and we've been best friends ever since, and remain so, even though he’s kinda weird. =P
Horses are a passion of mine. These animals are so smart, so beautiful, and they each have a distinct personality. I'm blessed to work with them. I am an ex show jumper, And I've owned three horses so far. My first, Starlight, taught me how to stay on. I'm pretty good at it. =P My second, Gray, was by far my favorite. He was a sweetheart, and he tolerated so much. We went through a lot together, and finally when his knee was getting bad, I gave him to a little girl who needed a horse to learn on. I miss him so much, I hope he's happy. My third, was this phenomenal horse named Louie. He was a perfect show horse, and was twice Starlight's size, so naturally, if he threw, I fell. We had loads of fun together, and he was a goofy, amazing horse, but I couldn't keep him when I decided showing wasn't for me. He loved it, I didn't. Now, I am horseless, but I volunteer at a therapeutic horseback-riding program, and I really like working with the horses and kids. I can't describe how amazing horses really are, you'd have to see for yourself, and I can't explain that feeling gotten when you fly over jumps, or run bareback, so I encourage those reading this to try it, just once. Maybe it's something for you.
