Born on Governer's Island, Bar Mitzvahed in the Bronx. Lived in and around Manhattan. Folkdanced, then studied with Finis Jhung and David Howard. Scholarships with Alvin Ailey and Erick Hawkins, both huge influences.
Moved to Atlanta, did some teaching and choreographing. Met my life partner Paul. Lived in a cool loft. Left. Moved to Chicago together. Choreographed 4 shows (so far)at No Exit Cafe. Travel all over as Yiddish Dance teacher- teaching at KlezKamp, KlezKanada, and KlezCalifornia, as well as workshops around the US and in Europe.
