Brief History:
In late 1999 the project was known as "Mass Grave".
The band that would become "Cryptic Moon" formed during 2004 in Los Angeles, California by Abyssmal Darkness, Mantis joined a while after. They were a black metal group by the name of "Blackdeath". During the fall of 2004 the group acquired Daniel the drummer from "Mass Grave" and rehearsed as a 3-piece but the stint did not last.
During september through december 2005 they recorded their self-titled demo and the "Infernal Chaos" album as a two man project .In 2006 the band changed their name to "Cryptic Moon" and were joined by Loki/Dyahgroth on bass. Loki/Dyahgroth later parted ways for personal reasons.
