'There's a four letter word for that, Christine... FREAK!'

About Me

My name is Christine, aka Cachocolate, Chris, Cat, Señor Tom-Tom, Nice Shirt, Teeny, and whatever else you want to call me. I have friends. I care about the environment, animals, and the education I get. I play soccer. Anything else you want to know about me... well, either you already know it because you know me in person, or I just don't know you and probably don't want to unless you're something special.
I like doing things that are daring, adventurous, and insane, but I'm still not the type of person who would do "illegal" things. Thus, some of you might find me rather boring, whereas others might wonder where I get the guts to do the things I do.
If you're going to add me, please don't waste my time if you're only doing it to have another friend. I only talk to a select few people, and I really don't want to just have as many friends as I can unless I talk to all of them.
10 things you may not know about me:
1. I like creamy kiwi smoothies from Baskin Robbins.
2. I also like Wheat Thins.
3. I'm passive aggressive, whatever that means.
4. I have A.D.D. when it comes to romance.
5. Without music, my life seems nearly pointless. That's why my reaction is catastrophic when my brother's dog decides to eat my favorite headphones.
6. At some point in my life, I will have a pet ball python. No matter what you say, Shreya, I will.
7. Daydreaming is my way of dealing with life.
8. I read books and watch shows about serial killers, and I probably know more about them than I should.
9. I talk too little when you first meet me, but once you know me I talk too much.
10. My greatest fear is people not liking me.
The love of my life, forever and always.

My Interests

Serial killers, music, poetry, prose, and anything that glitters.

I'd like to meet:

Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Danny Elfman, Jeffrey Dahmer, Josh Herman, the infamous James St. James,
and Armin van Buuren.

Music:

I like many types of music, from techno to mainstream to death metal to classical to rap to 8bit and just about everything in between. Except for emo, screamo, punk, or anything like that besides a select few bands or songs, which I don't even listen to that much anyway.

Oh, and just so you know, Danny Elfman is amazing. Listen to his music sometime.

Movies:

Clue
The Breakfast Club
Beauty and the Beast
The Princess and the Goblin
Fantasia
Silence of the Lambs
Hannibal Rising
Mortal Kombat
Scream
The Good Son
etc.

Television:

I rarely watch TV except for CSI, House, and any nature channels such as Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel. Oh, and the History Channel as well as CNN.

Books:

I like murder mysteries, fantasy, and vampires, as well as humor. However, the books I like the most are the ones that change my life forever, that grab my heart and force me to shed tears when I reach the last page. A few of those are listed below, but as of late those are the ones I read more often. I also like reading about serial killers. My favorite author is Francesca Lia Block ; she is amazing, and if you don't like her, then I hate you. (Just kidding.)
My Favorite Books
1. "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova
2. "Abarat" by Clive Barker
3. "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer
4. "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll
5. "Violet & Claire" by Francesca Lia Block
6. "Necklace of Kisses" by Francesca Lia Block
7. "Tithe" by Holly Black
8. "Tuesdays With Morrie" by Mitch Albom
9. "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky
10. "Party Monster" by James St. James
Currently Reading

Heroes:

Elizabeth who keeps me sane (although not very well as of late), crazy cousin Kristen, Sun Lee who I can talk to about anything, out-of-the-closet Erica (KIDDING), and amazing Austrian Caroline (aka Chrismoothie).

My Spooners, of course: Shreya Spooneya, Alex Spoonex, and Michelle Spoonelle.

Oh, and my wonderful kitty Cassie as well as my first goldfish Albert. =)

The good things that nobody mentions about IB.

Okay, so as some of you may know, I'm doing the IB Diploma.  If you don't know what that is... well, go find out at http://www.ibo.org/who/index.cfm, or if you're too lazy, then just forget about...

If you read this, I doubt you'll care.

I'm sick and tired of people being mean.  No, I don't mean, "AHAHA I BEAT YOU!"  I'm talking about those people who see someone in pain or who is suicidal and they just don't care.  The...

I am pure. I am true.

Yes, sadly I know what quixotic means (and only because I looked it up about ten seconds ago). Mm.  Xanga blogs are so much better than these. So I tried these things called Kissables. They're a...

And I feel so useless.

Honestly.  I really don't understand people. La la la la.  Another day rolls by, and I'm waiting.  Waiting for the sky to turn blue again because it hasn't been blue in a while.&nb...

And she bleeds into my hands.

My aunt Nicole bought me the new Madonna CD.  I know most of the people I know or hang out with don't really like her, but I've listened to her since 2nd grade at least and she's always been one ...

Roses are red and dead ones are black.

There's this song called "Sick Cycle Carousel" that I like to listen to when I'm trying to be thoughtful.  The lyrics are pretty and depressing and I don't like people because they bug me.  ...

Candy-coated words and eggplants.

It's nine PM and I'm listening to Imogen Heap.  I'm glad Maggie introduced me to them, because they are amazing.  The lyrics for "The Walk" are beautiful and I can sort of relate.  Then...
