I'm a third grade teacher for many years. (Love it!) I also work part-time in a pharmacy. I love going to the shore, AMERICA concerts, watching House, NCIS and CSI, and reading mystery novels. Currently I have 3 cats, Suzie, Emma, and GB,(a Maine coon cat) who parked himself on my porch and I felt sorry for him so I took him in.I also now have a part-time border...the porch cat, Chester. He was left here about 10 years ago (at least) by a neighbor who moved away and did not take her pet with her (shame on her). I named him Chester and he has wandered back and forth among the 3 row-houses (I am in the middle one) all these years. I tried to take him in once but he did not want to stay inside with my cats. I figure he has to be about 15 years old now. Since the last two winters, he has come into my hallway on the coldest days. This winter, he actually walked into my house one cold night and made himself quite comfortable on a chair. He does want out every now and then, but seems to stay inside more.
