Born in the south, raised in the east, Corpus is as diverse as his backround would suggest. Combining unique word pronunciations with an ever-changing style of flow. Corpus's intelligent lyrics blend perfectly to form a harmonious new sound. His music is a reflection of himself and the inner turmoils that burden his soul. Often times displaying the different sides of his character in his songs. From undergound lyrical MC, to showvanist player, to the deeply depressed and lonely, his music provides an insight into the human psyke and explores the many different factions and emotions that make up a human being. His music can be compared to a trapeze act, for in trying to balance the lyricism of the underground with the catchy-ness of commercial pop he has found a way to create intelligent pop music. His 1st solo album, STAND ALONE COMPLEX, which he recently released, showcased his ability to stand out amoungst the slew of imatating rap acts more concerned with following a trend rather than being themselves. The album was recorded and produced in Bangkok, Thailand with the help of rapper/engineer Dandee who also moonlights as one third of the international hip hop act, M.E.M. (money exchange movement). It also features guest apperences by Evablazin, Jayson Creer, Gully Shameless, Kal, Blahzay Blah, as well as apperences by Way, Big Calo, 2p and Eazy who are all a part of Thaitanium entertainment.
The album includes the first single "You Turn Me On" featuring Evablazin, along with the anthem "Made in Thailand", and the grunge like "Monster" featuring M.E.M. With topics that hit home and a willingness to share his personal life on record, Corpus is more free in terms of artistry to tackle subjects others are afraid or unwilling to touch. He has appeared in countless mixtapes, most notably the Thaitanium Mixtape series and the Bangkok Invaders mixtapes.
