About Me

MySpace Generators .

Legacy is on our way back.
We have a new vocalist! Wanna meet 'em?
Come to one of our upcoming gigs!
.
The training is going very, very well and soon we will break free from this cocoon
spread our wings and fly.

Here's a little more about the band.

We are a hard-hitting six member modern rock band
that draws on contemporary rock, blues, and alternative
to make you shake your ass and move your feet.

The family core of this band is made up of the brothers McConnell.
“Buck” McConnell on drums and Chris McConnell on rhythm guitar.
Founding member and father of the boys Ken McConnell on lead guitar,
And L.A. Moore on bass
Our influences range from old school country and western, through the heady sixties, hair bands of the eighties, and the Seattle sounds of the ninety's, to whatever pops up on tomorrow's top twenty!

Influences:

KEN: :
Being the youngest kid growing up in the 1970's, I was exposed to a lot of country music so I suspect that some of my influences lie there. (Listen to an old Merle Haggard or Willie Nelson song and you'll hear some pretty neat guitar licks). Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Geez, I don't know. Once I turned the radio knob away from the country station, I was exposed to a LOT of cool music. If it has a guitar in it, it has probably influenced me in some way. :

BUCK: :
I generally listen to stuff that's harder than the band does, :

CHRIS: :
I would love to tell you more, but my handlers in the Witness Protection Program won't allow it. :

L.A. MOORE: :
My influences started in the 80's when my parents bought a new device called a cd player. I was the first one in all the school to have cd's. Boy were those little things shiny. They bought the Time Life 50's & 60's Collection. My favorite year was 1958.

As I got a little older and entered middle school, I listened to top 40 on T-93. This is where my love of pop music started. I was also forced to listen to my mom's collection of contemporary country and classic rock albums and cds. At the time I hated the country but it would still have an impact on me.

Around 6th or 7th grade my friends and I discovered Aerosmith in my parent's album collection. I was hooked from there on out. Soon I was listening to bands
like Pink Floyd, Styx, Don McLean, and more.
In the early 1990's I received a VCR tape with a live Guns & Roses Concert on it. This tape would change my life. Not for the concert but for something else on the tape. Oliver Stone's movie – The Doors.

The Doors really influenced my ideas of where music could take you visually, emotionally and physically. Soon grunge hit but I was a bit to optimistic for all that sadness.

In the new millennium I started listen to lots of other types of music such as heavy metal, doom metal, shit that too hard for the common listener. I realized there is still talent in music; you just have to dig for it. :
