Born on October 22,1983 birth name Jeffroy Jeffers better know as J-Star was born on the island called ST.Kitts. His Parents Wendell and Lorenza Jeffers then moved to the U.S.V.I ST.Thomas to make a better life for there kids.Growing up in a house hold of three brother one sister J-Star was alway the most energetic. Looking up to his Big Brother Vernon Jeffers better known as Dappah Life he grew to love Music. In Jr High J-Star started taking it to another leave so he started writing songs, but he was still following his big brothers foot steps. When he got to High school he then was ready to show his talent to the world. With his strong voice and versitility J-Star then was somthing that people started to pay attention to. He Graduated from Ivanna Eudora Kean High school in 2002. At the time his girlfriend got Pregnant so he then had to take care of his self and his daughter.He was working with O.T.M entertainment for 12 years that was his stomping ground. After Being on the island J-Star wanted to see the world and provide for his daughter so he joined the military in 2004. He then was stationed in Jacksonville Fl where he did an opening act for Luey Rankin the actor in (belly and top shooters) in club Plush in jacksonville. He killed it with his energy and his Punch lines. After that he bin Back and Forth from Florida to The Gulf on six months tours. J-Star meet lots of people and networked as much as he could he had his songs played in the clubs in Malysia and they where loving It,The dj never returned the Cd. He finish two mix tapes Sex,Murda and Drugs and IRock Cities. J-Star meet Slaughta House records in Orlando where he recorded his mixtapes, due to Legal complecations J-Star stoped recording with them. He got out the military in 2008 to futher his dreams and use his talent. He moved to Orlando where he was introduced to a Producer (Jemoi)from Jamica. When the Jemoi heard his style and versitility he wanted to work with J-Star right away. J-Star liked his style of beats and now at this moment he is working on his album. The album features diffrent producers from all around the world Producers like Terrance Green from Jacksonville he made two of the tracks Shane from Orlando Fl he made one, Ryan sullivan aka Rukis from virgina he got one track, Cruz Rock from U.S.V.I he got Three tracks Jemoi the main producer from Jamica and many more.
