The Unpaved Path: Embracing Your Potential
October 9, 2008 @ 8:00 PM
$10
You've probably never told anyone else, but you have abilities that you know are there, you just don't know how to connect with them. Until now. Within a single hour, you'llconnect with spiritual energy, learning to sense it, move it, receive it and read it. You'll connect with the same abilities that psychics and intuitive readers use when working with aclient. You'll be shown that much of what you've been told to believe isn't what you truly believe at your core - and the simple truth is that you are more powerful and loved morethan you ever dared imagine.
In this, the first class in a five part series, you will be given the keys to unlock an entirely new level of existance. There's nothing mystical about this process - although the abilitiesand perspective that it unlocks are often attributed to mystics. This process doesn't involve chanting, trance work, or meditation. It does not require you to develop a new systemof belief or change the smallest portion of how you live. The abilities are instinctive and natural, nothing more than a part of who we are. We've simply forgotten they're there.
And this is the tip of the iceberg.
Pre-registration (via email response) is required as space is limited. The class is held in a private residence, approximately three blocks from Willamette University.

We'll work a simple blessing spell at the midpoint of theclass, consider the implications of ritual work in a group and solitary environments, and touch briefly on magickal defense, other plane work, and candle magick. The last half of theclass will involve working a group ritual with the intent of blessing those in attendance and opening the appropriate doors to facilitate future growth.

Magick 101: Energy and Symbolism
October 21, 2008 @ 7:00 PM

Along the way we'll consider how to tap into a wide range of natural energy sources, how to shift energy withease from one dynamic vibration to another, and how to remove the natural “filters†that we have that prejudice how we see, interact, and interpret the energy around us.

The Unpaved Path: Opening to Love and Empowerment
October 23, 2008 @ 8:00 PM
$10
We'll embrace one simple truth within the scope of this class - there is only love. Even fear, which is where every "negative" emotion stems from, is simply a byproduct of usattempting to keep love at bay. The secret is that love isn't just an emotion; love is the very fabric of the Divine. As such, the more we open to love, the more power we embrace -power that allows us to heal ourselves, manifest intense psychic abilities, and begin to take work with the very weave of reality.
In this class, we'll look at how the tools and perspective we've embraced so far allow us to depower fear and release its hold on us. We'll learn how to embrace love, simply throughan understanding of reality and our place in it. And we will learn two new abilities that will allow us to begin to exert control over our own emotional landscape and allow us toconsciously begin to heal, let go of our fear, and embrace love in every area of our lives.
Pre-registration (via email response) is required as space is limited. The class is held in a private residence, approximately three blocks from Willamette University.
Magick 101: Tools and Constructs
October 28, 2008 @ 7:00 PM
$15
Tools and constructs allow the magickal practitioner to set aside a reserve of specific energy and tap into as needed. The easiest way to understand this is to think of the wands inthe movie Harry Potter. In that (fictitious) reality, the students were unable to work magick without access to their wand. In our reality, tools and constructs simply enhance, focus,or empower our natural ability to utilize magickal energy. In this class we'll learn to work with traditional magickal tools, we'll set up an altar and learn how its symbolism translatesdirectly into ritual work, and we'll learn how to create our own tools and energy constructs to use in our own magickal practices.
Location: This event is being held at the Tea Party Bookshop (420 Ferry St SE) at the corner of Ferry andLiberty Streets in downtown Salem.

October 30, 2008 @ 8:00 PM

In the previous three classes, we've seen that reality is much bigger than we've ever imagined and we found our place within that weave. We discovered and practiced powers andabilities that we never dreamed were already at our fingertips. Not only did we open ourselves to love, but we began to release the hold that fear has on us, allowing Divine power toflow through us and fill every aspect of our lives.
Now it's time to begin to explore.
Standing in the doorway with the vastness of reality before us, we realize that we have the ability to become explorers, to directly interact with and learn from the Divine and theentire spiritual ecosystem. Building on skills that we've learned to this point, we'll learn to travel the spiritual realms, listen to the interaction of Spirit within our own lives, and beginto see past the concrete structure of the physical to perceive the vastness of existence that awaits, not beyond the boundaries of this lifetime, but in every moment, in every breath.

November 25, 2008 @ 7:00 PM
$15
The old saying reminds us that, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." While most of us will never need to use it, if we ever find ourselves under attack from a darkentity or magickal practitioner, it's useful to know how to redirect energy, how to dissipate an attack, and learn not only how to counterattack, but how to determine if suchaggressive measures are necessary. In this class, we'll not only learn the concepts behind the techniques, but we'll practice low-level magickal combat techniques that we cangreatly empower should the need arise.
