Meek.tv Biog

Meek.tv is the result of a high speed collision between two imaginations, a love of music, moving images, some cheap cracker jokes and a large box of crayola.
Operating since 2000AD, they have built up a reputation for creating musically inspired artwork, animation, graphic design, live visuals (VJing), music videos, interactive media, and clothing designs. Their work can be found in exhibitions, installations, night clubs, cd covers, flyers, canvases, remixed and projected live in the best music festivals in the land.
Meek.tv's broad range of influences go from Run DMC to Richard D James, Nam June Paik to Muller-Brockmann, Saul Bass to Michel Gondry, and from Iron Maiden to My Little Pony.
Meek have become best known for their stylish and often humourous VJ sets, which consist of beat synched moving images that visually describe the music. Meek VJ highlights include Glastonbury Festival Main Dance Tent 3 years in a row, AVIT Festival, Animated Exeter Festival, Bass Invaders, an Interview in DJ Magazine, Ashton Court Festival, Silent Disco, collaborating with upcoming live act Dr Meaker, and vjing for artists such as The Chemical Brothers, 2ManyDJS, Q-Bert, Gangstarr, Roni Size, James Lavelle, Stanton Warriors, Boom Bip, Dj Yoda, GLC, and Soul Mekanik to name but a few.
Who they are: James and Sion, a Cornishman and a Welshman. The name "Meek" came from their desire to be phat but keep a slim ego.
